Bush Stop Café

Jean was in the middle of serving Mick Jagger when I called - a good sign. A British import, her breakfast and lunch eatery is extremely popular. Early mornings centre around waffles, bacon, scrambled egg and fry-ups, while lunch-time favourites include a huge range of fresh salads. Try steamed chicken breast, local halloumi goat's cheese, or pepperdew and greens. The café is of the Internet variety too, so bring along your laptop.

About Limpopo Province

The great, grey-green, greasy waterway, after which this most northerly of South African provinces is named, curls 1,600km in a wide arc around the top of the Drakensberg, separating South Africa from neighbouring Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
