When you own a wine estate on the banks of a beautiful river (tough gig), the obvious idea is to have a picnic on the river bank and wine tasting on a boat – and that’s exactly what brothers Fred and Manie have done. After stocking up your picnic hamper at their deli, the boat lazily drifts along the Breede Rivier as you sip the brother’s excellent Pinotage or Villion MCC (sparkling wine), chancing upon a fish eagle perhaps as you do.
